Supporting Life-Saving Medical Care in
Mid-Missouri
What has my donation accomplished?
Your donations have a direct impact on healthcare in our community and throughout mid-Missouri.

Development of a Level II Special Care Nursery
CRMF has committed $300,000 towards the development of a new Special Care Nursery at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. This nursery will allow more families to stay close to home, rather than travel to outlying cities for care.

29 Scholarship Awarded
to Local Students
Each year, the Foundation provides over $20,000 in scholarship grants to local traditional and non-traditional students pursing degrees in the health care field.

Funding of the
Boost Program
Started by Tom and Sharon Naught over 30 years ago, the Boost Program provides local cancer patients with free monthly liquid nutritional supplements so they can get the nutrition they need when it's difficult to eat solid food. In addition, the program provides wigs so patients can have a sense of normalcy.
All cancer patients in mid-Missouri are encouraged to participate, regardless of where they receive services.

Scholarship Timeline
Capital Region Medical Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting MU Health Care's Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City as it works to deliver high-quality, compassionate medical care to the community and surrounding service area. The Foundation's mission is made possible through the generosity of donors who contribute both their time and financial support to help strengthen healthcare services and enhance patient care.

Capital Region Medical Foundation considers and awards scholarships based on a two-part process.
In Round 1, all applications are reviewed by a committee which then selects candidates to move on to the next round. In Round 2, candidates are asked to a 15 minute interview session to be held at MU Heath Care's Capital Region Medical Center at beginning of April. Following the interview, candidates will be notified if they won one of the scholarships (your application qualifies you for all available scholarships).
