Programs
For 35 years, Capital Region Medical Foundation has been supporting our community hospital by donating to a number of projects. With your help, our work will continue for another 35 years and longer!

Boost BBQ
What began as a rummage sale in the back room of Naught-Naught Agency by the Naught Family more than 30 years ago has raised over $1,000.000 and provided thousands of cases of nutritional supplement to thousands of cancer patients throughout mid-Missouri.

These funds have allowed Goldschmidt Cancer Center to provide wigs, turbans, and gas cards to patients. It is our sincere hope that providing a free resource for these materials helps ease the burden for the patients in our community fighting cancer.

The Boost BBQ was transitioned to a summer mailing campaign in 2020 due to COVID. Our plan is to bring the event back to an in-person event in 2025!

The need continues to grow. Just one $25 donation will help fund one month of nutritional supplements for a patient. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the Boost program or if you would have an idea for a fundraiser you would like help implementing, please visit our "Donation" page.

Watch and share the campaign information when you receive it this summer!

Annual Bill & Shirley Quigg Memorial Golf Tournament
Named in honor of Bill & Shirley Quigg, the Annual Quigg Memorial Golf Tournament is the Foundation's primary fundraiser. It provides an opportunity for hospital staff and leaders to come together with members of the community for a nice day of socializing and golf.

Your support of the tournament will help support the Foundation's efforts in Jefferson City and help our community hospital.

Board of Governors Business Meeting
The Board of Governors was created at the start of the Foundation, in 1989. The group of community leaders, elected officials, local business people, and medical staff are advocates for Capital Region Medical Center and help guide the direction of the Foundation.

The annual business meeting is the first Monday of every December. This year's event will be on Monday, December 2.

CRMF Scholarship Program
Every year, Capital Region Medical Foundation awards over $5,000 in scholarship money to local students pursuing a career in the medical field.

Local Schools are sent scholarship information in January of each year. Applications are due in March and winners are announced in early May.

If your family is interested in funding a scholarship, please contact Anne Green, CRMF Executive Director, at daccbw@health.missouri.edu.

Funding Provided by Capital Region Medical Foundation
Capital Region Medical Foundation, through the generous donations of many individuals in the community and surrounding counties, has helped fund a number of projects connected to MU Health Care's Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.

This year, we provided several scholarships to area students, purchased new transfusion chairs for Goldschmidt Cancer Center thanks to a generous donation from a local family, and helped fund a new radiology room and Spine Center at MU Health Care's Capital Region Medical Center.

Memorials
Capital Region Medical Foundation is touched by each and every memorial donation we receive. We know the donation was made in memory of someone that touched your life in a meaningful way. Each year, our board chooses meaningful projects to fund in honor and remembrance of these individuals.

Recent donations have gone to purchase wound care items and in-room screens for the Goldschmidt Cancer Center to help patients better understand their diagnosis and treatment plan.
